Fee Reductions – Terms and Conditions

Early Acceptance Discount

Award Value

Eligible students will receive a discount equal to 10% of the applicable tuition fee.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Early Acceptance Discount, applicants must:

  • be classified as a self-funded student;
  • be classified as either a Home or International student;
  • be a Foundation Year or an undergraduate student;
  • submit their application by 31 July 2026;

AND

Within 14 calendar days of the publication of this policy (for applicants who have already received an offer) or the date on which the offer of admission is issued (for newly admitted applicants) students must:

  • accept their offer of admission;
  • sign the relevant student contract;
  • pay the first tuition fee instalment.

Duration

The discount will apply for the entire duration of study, provided that the student:

  • progresses successfully through the programme;
  • maintains the minimum academic progression requirements established by the University and published in the Academic Regulations;
  • remains in good academic and disciplinary standing; and
  • meets all tuition fee payment requirements.

Combination with other Awards

The Early Acceptance Discount may be combined with the 5% Full Payment Discount only.

General Conditions

  • All scholarships and discounts are subject to verification of eligibility and the accuracy of information provided by the applicant.
  • Scholarships and discounts are non-transferable and have no cash value.
  • The discount applies to tuition fees only and does not cover any other study-related costs, including accommodation, travel, visa fees, insurance, books, equipment, or living expenses. 
  • Scholarships and discounts may not be deferred. 
  • Continued eligibility for awards extending beyond the first academic year is subject to compliance with all applicable academic progression, conduct, and financial obligations.
  • Where a scholarship or discount is stated to be combinable with another award, the combination will be applied only in accordance with the provisions set out in these Terms and Conditions. Any combination not expressly permitted is prohibited.
  • Students awarded the discount will be notified in writing.
  • Applicants or students who disagree with a decision to award, refuse, or withdraw a Scholarship or discount may submit a written appeal to the University (admissionskz@cardiff.edu.kz) within 10 working days of being notified of the decision. The appeal must include any supporting evidence. Thereafter, the University will review the appeal and make a recommendation to the University’s Management Board. The Management Board will review the case and provide a written decision within 10 working days. This decision will be final under the University’s internal procedures.

No applicant or student will be disadvantaged for submitting a genuine appeal.

Full Payment Discount

  • If the tuition is paid in full in advance (100% of the annual or total contract amount), an additional 5% discount is applied to the total amount. 
  • The 5% discount is applied annually, only when the tuition fee for that academic year is paid in full in advance (100% of the annual or total contract amount).
